FAQs

Where is the event?

The start of the fun run will be The Fleet Steps, nearer to Mrs Macquarie's Chair in The Domain for 2021, in the centre of Sydney. The Domain is accessible by public transport or there is also The Domain Wilson car park. Please note this is a slight change of location to prior event years.

How do I get there?

Can I bring a pram?

Prams are very welcome in the 1k Little Heroes event – we would love the whole family to participate in the 1k.

Prams can take part in the 3k, 5k and 10k however, if you are running with a pram please start at the back of the run.

Is the course suitable for wheelchairs?

Wheelchairs are welcome to participate in the 3km, 5km, 10km and half marathon fun runs, however please review the route first and be aware that there are a few steep inclines along the course.

Please note that the start area of the event is approximately 1km from the nearest parking station at the Domain or drop off area.

Transport can be organised if required with at least 72 hours’ notice – to do this please email info@nb.org.au

Can I register on behalf of others?

We would prefer adults to register themselves but if this is not possible you can register other adults and of course children – provided you are their parent or legal guardian.

As the person registering other people, please note that you will be also signing and agreeing to the terms and conditions of Run2Cure on their behalf and you should advise them accordingly. All children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at the event.

All children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the actual runs: 1km, 3km, 5km and 10km. The exceptions are if the child is taking part in the 3km or 5km as part of a school team (there should still be 2 to 3 accompanying adults for the team) or is taking part in the 1k Dash where the parents can monitor their children from the sidelines if preferred.

Can I get a refund?

As a small charity founded by families affected buy this disease, we very much appreciate the support of all of our Run2Cure families, runners and supporters.

Registration fees are non-refundable.

If you were registered for the postponed 2020 Domain event, you will receive a discount code for 100% off your 2021 registration. We estimate that these codes will be sent out in May.
