FUN DAY ACTIVITIES
From 9am till 1pm there is lots of fun to be had for the kids in addition to a range of food stalls.
The kids will be thoroughly entertained by a Taronga Zoomobile, rock climbing wall, face painting, arts area, pony rides and the Little Kickers soccer zone.
Activities will cost between $4 and $10 each and coupons will be sold on the day.
On a huge stage popular performers the Jitterbugs – who are bright and colourful characters taking the form of the bug world – will get the children on their feet. Kiki and Pascal, will ensure everyone has a smile on their face with their fun juggling and acrobatics, while adults and kids alike will enjoy the uplifting sounds of Caribbean band Errol H. Renaud.
Keep an eye out for the main stage schedule being released soon.
This year Run2Cure will include four race options – timed 10km, 5km and 3km runs and our particular favourite – a 1km Little Heroes event perfect for young children who are encouraged to dress up as superheroes. Babies and toddlers in strollers are also very welcome. The event is perfect for a family day out and grandparents often feature prominently in the 1km too. Great prizes are on offer for some of the standout little heroes on the day and every entrant is awarded with a medal, which brings big smiles to little faces.
We’ll have a fierce school competition in 2019.
