Run2Cure FAQs

How much money raised by Run2Cure Local will go towards research?

Our aim is for approximately 80% of the funds raised through Run2Cure Local to go towards research projects into kinder, better and more effective treatments for the children's cancer neuroblastoma.

The remaining funds go towards running the virtual event and the charity Neuroblastoma Australia. Our annual report is available here if you'd like more information about where funding goes.

What if I don't want to accept fundraising prizes?

We offer prizes in recognition of the work involved with fundraising however we understand that some of our generous supporters would prefer not to receive these prizes.

This year we will offer everyone the choice, so if you want, you can choose to donate what you've earned back to the charity to help with future fundraisers. Just email us on info@run2cure.org.au if you would prefer not to receive a prize.

More information on fundraising milestones can be found here.

Will I still get a participation medal for Run2Cure Local?

You can still organise medal to commemorate you and/or your teams’ participation. Medals can be ordered for $5 per medal including postage (for one address in Australia).
