The 10 km, 5 km and 3 km are all timed runs. The course is a certified IAAF AIMS course so you can use your time as an official time for other runs.

You don't have to be part of a team to participate. If you are registering as an individual just select this option when you register. You can enter more than one run type e.g 5 km and 10 km (the events are scheduled so that you can participate in both). After completing the registration form you have the option to add yourself to another run.

FAQ

Is the course suitable for wheelchairs?

Wheelchairs are welcome to participate in the 3km, 5km and 10km fun runs, however please review the route first and be aware that there are a few steep inclines along the course.

How do I get there?
  • Train: the nearest station is Martin Place. Other stations close to the Royal Botanic Gardens are St James and Circular Quay.
  • Ferry: an easy walk from Circular Quay.
  • Bus: the 441 (Balmain via QVB) leaves Market Street Stand F near QVB stops stops outside the Art Gallery of NSW every 30 minutes on Sunday. Art Gallery Road will be closed until 10:30 am so please get off at an earlier stop.
  • Car: there is limited metered parking along Hospital Road and Macquarie Street.Art Gallery Road and Mrs Macquarie’s Road will be closed until 10:30 am. Undercover parking is available at the Domain Car Park, Sydney Hospital, and the Sydney Opera House in Macquarie Street. The Domain Car Park has disabled access. It costs $10 for all day parking on 2nd June and opens at 5am.
