I'm fundraising for...

The boys and I are joining in on this years Run 2 Cure for Neuroblastoma. Nope, not running, but walking 10km. Phew 😁

We're doing this to raise funds to help fight this cruel disease. Ten years ago my work colleague and his young family were hit when his daughter Lois, who was only 2, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma.

Lois' Story

Lois was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma shortly following her 2nd birthday back in 2014. After an intensive treatment protocol lasting almost 2 years which involved Chemotherapy, Stem cell transplant, Radiation Therapy, Tumor removal and Immunotherapy, Lois began her recovery from this cruel disease. Neuroblastoma is an extremely aggressive form of Childhood cancer which has an estimated long term survival rate of around 50%. Lois was very lucky in her response to treatment but many others are not so lucky and funding for Neuroblastoma research is very limited. Your help in raising money for this worthy cause will go a long way and will help many families hopefully avoid facing the same challenges we have over the journey.

Sponsor us if you can friends and know you've done a good thing xx Neuroblastoma. Run2Cure is a charity fun run and raises funds for the aggressive childhood cancer neuroblastoma.

Neuroblastoma is a cancer affecting young children with the average age being just 2 years of age and survival rates for aggressive neuroblastoma being just 1 in 2.

So in addition to my own goal, I want to make a difference to the young children affected. If you are able to make a donation, be it a few dollars or more, I would be very grateful. Thank you. You've done something wonderful xx
