I'm fundraising for ....

I have set myself a personal challenge for 2024 and am taking part in Run2Cure Neuroblastoma with Team Lois. Run2Cure is a charity fun run and raises funds for the aggressive childhood cancer neuroblastoma.

Neuroblastoma is a cancer affecting young children with the average age being just 2 years of age and survival rates for aggressive neuroblastoma being just 1 in 2.

My niece Lois was diagnosed with neuroblastoma shortly after her second birthday in 2014. After an intensive treatment lasting almost 2 years which involved Chemotherapy, Stem cell transplant, Radiation Therapy, Tumor removal and Immunotherapy, Lois began her recovery from this cruel disease. It is a cause close to my heart to raise funds for more research into neuroblastoma to have better treatment options for children affected by this type of cancer.
